Field Flowers and Baby Goats

We’ve been working hard this weekend getting our new website up and running. 🙂 We still have a few more things to add, but we’re so happy to have this new space to share through and we hope you like it!

The rest of our time has been spent in the fields getting wire hauled for new fencing and taking the goats out for their daily feeds. It’s so exciting to see bits of Spring popping up in the dry, brown fields, especially such cheery ones like these.

We’ve been feasting on simple but rib-sticking foods like this delectable lemony white bean salad tossed with tuna and fresh Roma tomatoes. You can find the recipe here at Krista’s food and travel site:

But mostly we’ve been keeping an eye on beauties like this little girl…

and this one…

and this one. 🙂

They are the sweetest things, tiny, cuddling, snoozy, and we love them. 🙂

What’s keeping you busy this weekend?

  1. I LOVE your new website Krista. Well done to you 🙂 Please continue to share these gorgeous photos of the new girls (they are so gorgeous). There is so much to keep me busy this weekend, lots of tasks need to be done at home. Plus my children go back to school next week 🙂 Have a great rest of weekend on your lovely farm.

  2. the Website is gorgeous! Yay for doing it! this weekend I am getting Adrienne ready for school by getting a Back To School goody basket ready for her and her BFF, and trying my hand at red velvet cupcakes that will be decorated to look like apples. I am also finishing a baby blanket and hoping to knit a hat. I always have lots that I want to do, we’ll see how much actually gets done. I love you!

  3. Thank you SO much, Cathy!! I still have some work to do, but the main stuff is done and I’m so happy. 🙂 You must be swamped getting everything ready for the start of the school year! 🙂 So fun and exciting. I always loved getting new school supplies each September. 🙂

  4. Thank you, dear Marie! I was so tired by the end of it last night, but much relieved. 🙂 A Back to School Good Basket sounds so fun! Can’t wait to hear what lovely things you tuck in there. 🙂 Love you too! XO

  5. Krista I am so happy you stopped by my blog or I would be seriously missing out on your gorgeous photos and goats. Funnily enough we were just talking last night and saying one day we will have a house with chickens and a goat and a dog again and then we will know we are finally home. In the meantime I’ll live vicariously through you!

  6. I’m so glad you stopped by here too, Nancy! 🙂 It is lovely to meet you and I truly wish for your dream to come true very soon. 🙂

  7. So I was telling John the other day how I dream of one day finally doing our Queensland trip and coming to pay you guys a visit! I would love to see the farm and finally meet. Someday…

    Love your new blog =)
